3. Return Eligibility

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

3.1 Conditions for Return

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be unused and uninstalled

  • Item must be in original packaging

  • All manuals, accessories, and components must be included

  • Proof of purchase is required

Installed, modified, or damaged products are not eligible for return unless defective.


4. Return Process

4.1 Initiating a Return

To begin a return:

  1. Contact us within 30 days of delivery.

  2. Provide your order number and reason for return.

  3. If approved, we will issue Return Authorization instructions.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.


4.2 Preparing Your Return

  • Repack the item securely in its original packaging.

  • Include all original components.

  • Follow return instructions provided by our team.


4.3 Shipping the Return

  • Returns must be shipped within 7 days of receiving return approval.

  • A trackable shipping method is required.

  • Freight items must be coordinated through approved carriers.

Customers are responsible for ensuring returned goods arrive safely.


5. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the return is due to our error:

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Freight return shipping for large appliances can be significant and is the customer’s responsibility.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.


6. Specific Return Conditions

6.1 Change of Mind

  • Must be unused and in original packaging

  • Subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility


6.2 Defective or Damaged Products

For freight deliveries, inspect items immediately upon delivery.

If damage is visible:

  • Note damage on the delivery receipt before signing

  • Take clear photos

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

If a product is confirmed defective:

  • We will offer a replacement or refund

  • We will cover return shipping costs for verified defects

Failure to report freight damage within 48 hours may void claims.


6.3 Incorrect Product Received

If you receive the wrong item:

  • Notify us immediately

  • We will arrange return shipping at our expense

  • A replacement or refund will be provided


6.4 Product Not Delivered

If your order does not arrive:

  • Contact us within 7 days of the estimated delivery date

  • We will investigate with the carrier

6.5 Order Cancellation

Before Shipment:
Orders may be canceled for a full refund prior to shipment.

After Shipment:
If the order has shipped, it must follow the standard return process.

Custom or special-order items cannot be canceled once production has begun.


7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom or special-order products

  • Installed products

  • Clearance or final sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Products returned without original packaging


8. Refunds

8.1 Inspection and Approval

Refunds are issued after:

  • Returned item is received

  • Item is inspected and approved

You will be notified via email regarding approval or rejection.


8.2 Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing time: up to 14 business days after approval

  • Banks or credit card issuers may require additional time


8.3 Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may apply if:

  • Item is not in original condition

  • Parts are missing

  • Item shows signs of use

  • Return is outside the 30-day window


9. Exchanges

We replace items only if they are:

  • Defective

  • Damaged in transit

  • Incorrectly shipped

For change-of-mind exchanges, the return process applies.


10. Freight Delivery Policy (Important)

For large appliances and built-in systems:

  • Customer must inspect shipment at delivery

  • Damage must be noted on the bill of lading

  • Failure to inspect may limit claim eligibility

Luxury Kitchens and Patios is not responsible for installation errors or improper handling after delivery.

This policy does not limit any consumer rights provided under applicable U.S. law.
